Official Trailer “De Døde Har Det Godt”

On January the 20th The Varg Veum film “The Dead Do It Good” will have its opening premiere. Deni Jordan have stuntcoordinated the film and also made several of the stunts in the film including a 13 meter backwards fall. The film was shot in Bergen last year in January / February.

“Headhunter” a Norwegian action thriller

Watch the official trailer to the film adaptation of Jo Nesboe’s novel Headhunters (“Hodejægerne”), which has just premiered in Oslo, Norway. Even before the opening, the film had become the most widely exported Norwegian movie in history. The film will be screened on every continent, having sold to more than 50 countries so far. “Hodejægerne” is produced by Friland and directed by Morten Tyldum. Deni Jordan has coordinated the many spectacular action sequences and Dansk Special Effekt Service is once again the master of all the fantastic special effects

“Scavengers” new Danish/US horrormovie

“Skavengers” is a new Danish, but English worded horror movie by Director Nikolaj Tarp and produced by Zeitgeist. The movie title is a Danish variation of the English word “Scavengers”. American actor Vanessa Johansson, sister of well-known American/Danish actor Scarlett Johansson, plays the main character. Deni Jordan was Stunt Coordinator and he also directed all action sequences. The movie had a tight budget and with little money for “real” stunt people, the production had to use the movie’s actors and many “Skavengers”, whom all did a great job performing stunts to the best of their capabilities. Every day brought bruises, scratches and sore muscles. Because of the Horror theme, the movie was shot entirely during nighttime. A full month at the Danish Island of Langeland was tough on the crew and the actors, but so far the outcome seems to pay off.

Winner at Prometheus Festival of Stunts, Arts and Cinematography

This is an old article but i just found it on the internet and felt i had to post it since i am so proud of us winning at The Prometheus Festival of Stunt, Arts and Cinematography. This competition was at the time considered to be the unofficial World Championships in Stunts and Stuntwork.

We won the 2 manjor catogories which was “Best Stuntmovie” and “Best Team Stunt”.

Check out our latest mini showreel that we have created to demonstrate our capabilities and to stimulate our dear reader’s interest. This one with cars, trucks, busses and more. Deni Jordan has stunt coordinated all and he is also performing in the majority of the clips together with stuntdriver Søren Rytter. Also seen are stuntmen Jesper Olsen, Henrik Eiberg and Kim Sørensen. Range Rover stunt is performed and coordinated by Juha Pursuainen.

2010 Sunniva commercial

New Commercial for the Norwegian fresh juice label Sunniva. Scandinavian Stunt Group arranged all wire work and the poor actor found himself hanging in a flying harness for hours while we were shooting from all possible angles. But the guy was pro and made no complaints. Well done! The Commercial was produced by Bacon and directed by Martin Werner

Basim Musicvideo 2011

In his newly released music promo, Danish pop singer and songwriter Basim is seen fighting against Canadian Television actor Bronson Pelletier. Pelletier played Jared, a Quileute shape-shifter, in New Moon, the sequel to Twilight, and reprised his role in Eclipse, the sequel to New Moon. The fight takes place towards the end of the video and was choreographed by Stunt Coordinator Deni Jordan. The rehearsal took a day, but as the shooting was behind schedule, the actual fight scene was shot in less than 45 min. Actors and crew were focused and handled the pressure with great professionalism. The music promo is produced by Danish Production Company “Gaucho Film” and directed by Michael Christensen.

Skoda – let wiser counsels prevail!

New Commercial for Skoda Greenline. Deni Jordan was stunt coordinator and stuntmen Søren Mucken and Robert Follin were stand-ins for the actors. SFX Technician Lars Andersen handled special effects in this funny Commercial produced by Bacon. Stig Gunther was assistant stunt coordinator.

Trentemoeller Music Promo

Sound of Noise

The citizens of Malmö are shaken by six guerilla-terrorists with musical ears, staging a real sound symphony in four movements. Everything from high-voltage lines to stout gentlemen bellies is exposed to surprise-attacks by the drumsticks and the mysterious happenings are also affecting Amadeus Warnebring from the Police. He is in fact the only one in his family, who are absolutely tone deaf. And his greatest dream is a world without music!
The movie is stunt coordinated by Danish stuntman Deni Jordan and the stunts performed by Scandinavian Stunt Group crew members: Kim Sørensen, Søren Rytter, Henrik Eiberg, Rene Due and David Owe together with stuntman Bo Thomas and a number extras.

“It was quite a challenge to realize the different scenes with the guerilla terrorists” Deni Jordan recalls” moving on to say “That at one point we had six actors secured in wires twelve meters above the ground, imitating they were hanging in high-voltage lines”. “This very scene took three days to shoot and everyone involved was pretty exhausted at the end”.

Also in the movie is a fight scene between industrial machines, a fight between a drunk and a man playing an erotic tune on a saw, a car chase and panic situations at the opera in Malmö.

The “Sound of Noise” received the Rail d’Or prize in Cannes 2010. Here is a teaser from the film:
